To Retire an Asset Location
In
AssetWise
CONNECT Edition, you can record the date each
time an asset location is retired. When an asset location is retired, it is no
longer visible on the map.

From the Asset page, select the
Locations tab, and then click the
Map icon (
).
- Select the asset that you want to retire.
- From the Off network geometry tool, select Retire. The Retire Location dialog appears. For example:

Accept or select a
End Date representing the date to retire the
asset location, by clicking the calendar icon (
), and then selecting a date.
- Click Retire. The End Date may be no later than the Start Date of its parent asset.
